Ninh Binh's delegation pays working visit to Quang Ninh

Joining the working delegation were Deputy Secretary of the Ninh Binh Party Committee and Chairman of the provincial People's Council Mai Van Tuat; and Deputy Secretary of the province Party Committee and Chairman of the provincial People's Committee Pham Quang Ngoc, among others. 

At the working session, representatives of Quang Ninh informed their guests about the province's socio-economic situation; its experiences in accelerating administrative reform, improving the investment climate and the provincial competitiveness index (PCI), investment promotion and attraction; building, managing and implementing  planning projects; and constructing infrastructure for tourism.

Speaking at the working session, Secretary of the Ninh Binh provincial Party Committee Doan Minh Huan thanked the host officials' for their warm welcome and expressed his hope that Ninh Binh and Quang Ninh will foster cooperation and mutual support in a bid to take advantages of each province, thereby establishing a model of bilateral cooperation in the Red River Delta.

For his part, Secretary of the Quang Ninh provincial Party Committee Nguyen Xuan Ky said that Ninh Binh and Quang Ninh share numerous similarities in socio-economic development. 

The enhance of cooperation would help tighten the traditional friendship and cooperation between the two provinces, Ky added.

On this occasion, leaders of Ninh Binh and Quang Ninh provinces signed a memorandum of understanding on solutions to spur regional connectivity.

Previously, the delegation paid a field trip to industrial zones, and hot spring tourist site of Yoko Osen in Quang Ninh.
