A delegation of Ninh Binh province led by Deputy Secretary of the provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the provincial People's Council Mai Van Tuat is paying a working visit to Egypt from October 11 to 15.

Working session with Vietnamese Ambassador to Egypt Nguyen Duy Dung, Tuat and the delegation's members introduced the province's socio-economic situation as well as its development viewpoints and major orientations for investment attraction and socio-economic development.
They stressed that Ninh Binh is focusing on luring investment in areas such as ecological tourism and luxury resort services, high-quality human resources training, construction of infrastructure of industrial zones, tourism areas and urban areas; automobile manufacturing and assembly; supporting industry; clean and environmentally-friendly industries.
Ninh Binh has also been fostering green and sustainable economic development and taking historical and cultural values of Hoa Lu ancient capital as momentum as growth recourse and momentum, Tuat said.
The official expressed his hope that the working session would open up opportunities for Ninh Binh to access potential Egyptian investors and partners in the time to come.
For his part, Dung spoke highly of Ninh Binh's potential and strengths as well as its development orientations. He asked Ninh Binh to provide more detail information related to potential and strengths to coordinate with Vietnamese and Egyptian agencies to promote trade ties.
Currently, Egypt is paying heed to textiles and garment products, automobiles, and OCOP agricultural products, therefore, Ninh Binh could exploit this huge market in the future, Dung added.
*During the trip, the delegation had a working session with Egypt's Luxor province to learn experiences in improving the quality of operations of people-elected agencies.

The two sides discussed provincial governance and issuance of public policies and services, and shared experiences in renewing public services and boosting socio-economic, cultural, educational and tourism development in the coming time.
Luxor's leaders hoped to step up the implementation of cooperation contents signed between the two provinces in 2018. They exchanged experiences in exploiting tourism potential and bringing into play heritage advantages and agreed to step up cooperation in human resources training.
Also in Luxor, the delegation worked with Egypt's Antiquities Committee to learn experiences in preserving and promoting cultural heritages.

While in Egypt, the delegation also paid fact-finding trips to models of cultural heritage preservation and promotion of Egypt and surveyed the Cairo market.
As scheduled, the delegation will pay a working trip to South Africa from October 15 to 17.
