Ninh Binh's delegation pays working visit to China

The visit aims to learn experience in managing and developing historical cities, heritage cities, wetland parks, film studio, herbal markets andthe cuisine industry in Jiaxing and Hangzhou cities of Zhejiang province; Bozhou city of Anhui province and Beijing capital city.

 The delegation paid a fact-finding trip to some famous destinations such as Tianying Ancient Town in Jiaxing city, Songcheng film studio and Xixi National Wetland Park. 

Zhang Haiyang, Secretary of the Party Committee of Jiashan county, introduced the delegation to the Tianying Ancient Town and shared its experiences in managing the ancient town, preserving ancient houses and developing traditional handicrafts.

Huan said that these previous experiences would help Ninh Binh to preserve, manage and exploit cultural and historical relic sites.

During their working visit to Hangzhou city, the delegation worked with the Xixi National Wetland Park management agency.

 The delegation was introduced to the agency's experiences in preserving the ecosystem, developing community-based tourism,organising cultural activities and traditional festivals, protecting the environment incombination line with ecotourismdevelopment. These experiences could be applied to managing and promoting the outstanding values of Van Long wetland nature reserve in Gia Vien district  of Ninh Binh in the coming time.

Later, the delegation explored the management, tourism development and cultural, historical and natural preservation at the West Lake, a night market and the Songcheng film studio in Hangzhou. 

 

They also heard the Songcheng film studio management board sharing experiences in operating the film studio; mechanisms and polices and support of the local administration in organising service activities, producing cultural products, and reality shows to serve tourists, thus spurring the development of the entertainment-culture industry and tourism while preserving local identities.

As scheduled, the delegation will make fact-finding trips to study management methods of the herbal market, traditional medicines as well as ways to preserve and uphold and promotethe values of cultural and historical relic sites in Bozhou city of Anhui province and Beijing capital city.
