Ninh Binh's delegation pays working visit to Bac Lieu province

The visit, which was part of Ninh Binh leaders' working trip to southern localities, including Bac Lieu and Ca Mau provinces and Ho Chi Minh City, aimed to strengthen twinned relations among the Party Organisations and administrations of Ninh Binh, Bac Lieu and Ca Mau provinces and to expand cooperation in investment promotion, socio-economic development and national defence between Ninh Binh and Bac Lieu, Ca Mau provinces and Ho Chi Minh City.

Speaking at the working session, Ha expressed her delight to visit and work with Bac Lieu province. The visit aimed to study and exchange experience in aquaculture which is seen as one of Bac Lieu's strengths, she said.

In addition, Bac Lieu's successes in developing industrial infrastructure and wind power are among issues that Ninh Binh wants to study, the official said.

Ha also briefed Ninh Binh's socio-economic situation, and underscored that its achievements were partly attributed to Bac Lieu province's support.

Ha thanked Bac Lieu's Party Organisation and administration for their help in the recent times and hoped that the twinned relationship between the two provinces would develop strongly and be enhanced to a new height.

Lu Van Hung, Secretary of the Bac Lieu Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the provincial People's Council, said that the twinned relationship has been treasured, preserved and promoted by generations of leaders, the Party Organisations and administrations of the two provinces.

In the time to come, the Party Organisations, administrations and people of Bac Lieu and Ninh Binh should continue strengthening cooperation in all fields, thus tightening the close relationship between the two provinces, said Hung, who is also a member of the Party Central Committee.

On this occasion, Ninh Binh handed over 1 billion VND to help Bac Lieu build houses of gratitude for social policy beneficiaries.

After the working session, Ninh Binh's delegation visited and presented gifts to several social policy beneficiary families in Bac Lieu.
