Ninh Binh's Chairman receives RoK's Asan city delegation

Speaking at the working session, Chairman of the provincial People's Committee Dinh Van Dien expressed his joys to welcome the delegation and congratulated Mr. Oh Sae-hyun on his election as Mayor of the Asan city.

Mr Dien briefed his guests of the local strengths and potentials. He said the socio-economic achievements gained by the province in recent years have seen contributions, support,and cooperation of foreign organizations, countries, including Asan city.

He suggested that the two localities continue working together closely and effectively in fields of mututal interests.

On behalf of the Asan city delegation, Mr. Oh Sae-hyun thanked the host for their walm welcome, affirming the cultural similaries shared by the two localities.

The relationship between Ninh Binh and Asan city has been growing since the two sides signed the MOU on cooperation in 2016, he said. The two sides have organized a number of exchanges for their officials and students.

He believed that in the time to come, Ninh Binh and Asan city would cooperate in many other fields.

The Mayor expressed his hope that the visit would help to build deeper trust between the two sides, and boost the current sound relationship, thus solidifying the friendship relationship between the two peoples, and the strategic relationship between the two nations.

During the event, the two sides discussed contents of cooperation in the future.

Regarding investment, the two authorities would create favorable conditions in terms of administrative procedures and land use for Korean investors when making investment in Ninh Binh.

They will work to connect Ninh Binh and Asan investors to work in potential fields such as the automobile industry, electronic components, hi-tech agriculture, and solar energy.

They will boost the promotion of their strengths and potentials to investors.

In the field of culture and sports, the two localities will organize numerous events with the participation of art troupes and sports teams from Ninh Binh and Asan city.

On tourism, in 2019, Ninh Binh will establish a Korean website to promote and introduce potentials and strengths of Ninh Binh to Asan residents in particular, and Korean people in general.

At the same time, they will boost the exchange of tourists. Ninh Binh is going to open a Korean education center,and a Korean-language faculty at Hoa Lu University.

Ninh Binh and Asan city would accelerate the exchange program for their staff as well as students to study and work in many fields.
