Ninh Binh's attractive destinations for holidaymakers during upcoming holidays

The four-day holidays is hoped to attract more domestic and foreign visitors to discover Ninh Binh.

The following are famous destinations in Ninh Binh, which are highly recommended for visitors.

Trang An ecological tourism site

The Trang An ecological tourism site has been famous for its fairy landscape. It is situated inside Trang An complex, which was recognised as a world cultural and natural heritage by UNESCO in 2014.

The harmonious mixture of mountains, rivers, trees, rich ecosystem, caves, water valleys and numerous old temples and shrines offers fresh experiences for tourists.

The fresh and cool atmosphere in autumn will provide unforgettable experiences for travellers when taking a sightseeing tour to discover caves, limestone mountains and waterfalls there.

Thung Nham ecological tourism site

Thung Nham ecological tourism site in Hoa Lu district, which covers tens of hectares, is a famous destination for its biological landscape.

Thung Nham is surrounded by tropical forests. It is featured with the pristine beauty of caves, forests and flowers of all kinds.

Visiting Thung Nham, visitors will have a chance to see 40 different species of birds.

Cuc Phuong National Park

Cuc Phuong National Park, the first of its kind in Vietnam, stretches across the three provinces of Ninh Binh, Hoa Binh and Thanh Hoa.

The national park plays an important role in preserving rare and endangered wild animals.

Coming to the Cuc Phuong National Park, visitors will have a chance to learn about rich floral and fauna systems that bear typical features of tropical rainforest.

Mua Cave

Mua Cave is situated in Ninh Xuan commune of Hoa Lu district. The incredible viewpoint from the top of the mountain is worth climbing up 500 steps.

When standing on the top, visitors will have a spectacular view of Ngo Dong river below that makes its way around the towering mountains and green or yellow paddy rice fields which are likened to piano keyboards.

The path leading to the top of the mountain was built in the shape of the Great Wall of China with 500 stone steps.

 Hoa Lu old quarter

Hoa Lu old quarter is a must-visit destination in your itinerary when visiting Ninh Binh at night. It was built to reenact the history and culture in the 10th century.

Products of traditional craft villages such as Van Lam embroidery, Bo Bat ceramics and specialties are sold here. In addition, visitors will have a chance to enjoy art programmes, folk games and water puppetry.   

Moreover, when coming to Ninh Binh, tourists should not miss other destinations such as Bai Dinh pagoda, Hoa Lu ancient capital, Phat Diem cathedral and Van Long wetland nature reserve.
