Runner Ly, 22 years old, began working in the Ninh Binh Provincial Sports Training and Competition Center in 2014.
Ly's gold medal at 2017 SEA Games is important to bringing Vietnam to the second place in the regional largest event's medal tally on August 23.
This gold medal is the first recorded by Ninh Binh's sports sector so far. She can also be seen as a new symbol of the province's sports sector.
