The welcome and serving of international guests must meet conditions and standards set out by the Ministry of Culture, Sport and Tourism, the Ministry of Health as well as related ministries and sectors.
The provincial People's Committee has demanded the reception and serving of international visitors strictly comply with COVID-19 prevention and control measures as well as the Ministry of Health's guidance; and ensure safety, convenience and the best experiences for visitors.
The plan aims to gradually revive and develop tourism and service activities in the new normal; safely and flexibly adapt to the COVID-19 pandemic; and remove difficulties faced by local enterprises.
In order to implement the plan effectively, the provincial People's Committee devised some solutions such as ensuring COVID-19 prevention and control measures; diversifying and improving the quality of tourism products; launching new tourism products and services; organising tourism promotion and communication programmes; cooperating in tourism development; training human resource; and applying information technology in tourism activities.
The Department of Tourism was assigned to announce of the reopening of tourism activities from March 15, 2022. The department was also asked to regularly update the COVID-19 situation in Ninh Binh on its website.
Travel companies were requested to register and self-evaluate their daily COVID-19 situation on the website: http://safe.tourism.com.vn to connect with the national COVID-19 safety portal.
The provincial People's Committee also asked for building scenarios to cope with suspected COVID-19 visitors and disseminate COVID-19 prevention and control measures to visitors and labourers.
