Ninh Binh ready for Tourism Week "Yellow colour of Tam Coc - Trang An" 2022

In a bid to ensure safety and create impression on visitors, related units have well prepared for the event.

The Tourism Week "Yellow colour of Tam Coc -Trang An", has been held annually in recent years when rice fields along Ngo Dong river .

The new feature of the tourism week 2022 is that the opening ceremony will be held at Cave 2, where visitors can observe the flag-shaped rice field next to Ngo Dong river.

In an attempt to organise the event successfully, the Ninh Binh Provincial Peoples Committee has issued Plan No. 67 urging units, localities and enterprises take actively in implementing their tasks and removing difficulties, thus contributing to the success of the tourism week.

Bui Van Manh, Director of theTourism Department said, in order to organise the tourism week, the department has advised the organising committee to soon assign specific tasks to departments, sectors, localities and firms. The communication work has been updated regularly on the department's website and social platforms.

The Tourism Department has worked with relevant units to ensure social order, fire prevention and control, environmental sanitation, and safe power supply; and organise activities within the frame work of the tourism week.

At the same time, inspections have been step up to monitor activities of accommodation facilities, restaurants and tourist sites.

The tourism week 2022 will focus on exploiting natural values like using paddy rice fields to set up the stage for the opening ceremony and performing art activities on the river. These activities would not only help bring fresh experiences to visitors, but also requirescareful preparations.

Hoang Thanh phong,  a representative of Tam Coc - Bich Dong tourist site management board, said implementing the plan of the provincial People's Committee's, it has been focusing on preparing all conditions to welcome delegates and visitors safely and warmly.

More attention has been paid to ensuring conditions in terms of security and safety for delegates and visitors during the event.

In addition, the management board has actively improved the landscape andenvironment sanitation, and set up sign boards.

It has also cooperated with local authority to prepare for art performances like dragon processing, festival drumming; promoting specialties and handicraft products at the pedestrian street and cuisine fair

Besides, the public security forces at all levels have set up plans to ensure social security and order, traffic safety during the event.

Manh said that the tourism week 2022 is among a series of activities to mark 30 years of the province's re-establishment and respond to the Visit Vietnam Year 2022. It is hoped to promote new special product of the flag-shaped rice field in Tam Coc and to revive the tourism sector during the low season and after being hit by the COVID-19 pandemic, he added.
