The construction of the CP1A Package was overseen by MES-RINKAI-TAISEI-CIENCO1 a joint venture between Vietnamese and Japanese contractors.
The package comprises three projects - Ninh Binh Railway Station, Ninh Binh Railway Bridge and Ninh Binh Flyover.
The Hanoi - Ho Chi Minh City Railway Line (approximately 1,700km long), an ODA project funded by the Japanese International Co-operation Agency, is one of the most important lines in Vietnam, connecting the northern, central and southern parts of Vietnam.
The project aims to ensure the safety of railway service, shorten passenger and freight transport time, and boost transport volume by replacing 44 severely deteriorated bridges on the railway line between Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City, thereby contributing to the sustainable economic growth of the region along the railway line.
