Ninh Binh public security force ensures public order and security for SEA Games 31

The northern province of Ninh Binh is selected to host karate competition at the biggest sports event of the region with the participation of 9 teams from 9 countries in the region.

To secure absolute safety and security for activities, Director of the provincial Department of Public Security carefully draw up plans related to social order,  fire fighting and prevention and traffic safety from May 16 to 21.

The public security forces and vehicles at all units and localities are ready; proactively implement programmes and plans for protection; strictly follow requirement of information, report, on duty and permanent combat at all circumstances.

The public security forces also to carefully check all programmes to ensure security, cooperate with provincial People's Committee and Ninh Binh city to maintain traffic safety and guide delegations during SEA GAMES 31 as avoid traffic jams and accidents negatively affecting the activities of SEA GAMES 31.

In addition, the security force pays more attention to combat robbers and those using weapons or dangerous weapons to intentionally cause injury or disrupt public order.

Police agencies have proactively identified and promptly fought emerging crimes related to the 31st SEA Games, especially investigating and handling betting cases, hi-tech crimes, and crimes and violations of the laws on environment and food safety, to create a safe and healthy environment for the organization of the 31st SEA Games.

Attention has been also paid to communication activities to raise awareness of traffic safety amongst local residents.
