Ninh Binh Provincial People's Council convenes 17th session

The opening session saw the attendance of member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the provincial Party Committee Doan Minh Huan; Permanent Deputy Secretary of the provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the provincial People's Council Mai Van Tuat; Deputy Secretary of the provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the provincial People's Committee Pham Quang Ngoc, among others.

In his opening remark, Chairman of the provincial People's Council Mai Van Tuat, said the session will discuss reports of the provincial People's Committee on the performance of socio-economic tasks in 2023 and define tasks and orientations for socio-economic development in 2024, as well as the results of addressing voters' opinions prior the 15th session of the provincial People's Council. 

The provincial People's Council will also hold a question and answer session and consider and approve 65 draft resolutions.

At this session, the provincial People's Council will also conduct votes of confidence on officials holding positions elected by the provincial People's Council.

At the opening session, participants heard a report presented by Chairman of the provincial People's Committee on the implementation of the socio-economic plan in 2023, tasks and orientations for socio-economic development in 2024.

Secretary of the provincial Party Committee Doan Minh Huan delivered a direction speech at the opening session.

As scheduled, the 17th session will last until December 8.
