Ninh Binh Provincial Party Committee has new Secretary

Politburo member, Permanent member of the Party Central Committee's Secretariat and Chairwoman of the Party Central Committee's Organisation Commission Truong Thi Mai attended the event.

At the meeting, Vice Chairman of the Party Central Committee's Organisation Commission Nguyen Quang Duongannounced the Politburo's Decision No.816-QDNS/TW dated March 30, 2023on the personnel work.

Accordingly, Doan Minh Huan, member of the Party Central Committee, ceased holding the position of Editor-in-Chief of the CommunistReview and was assigned to join the Party Committee and the Party Committee's Standing Board and hold the post of Secretary of the Party Committee of Ninh Binh province for the 2020-2025 tenure.

On behalf of the Politburo, Mai congratulated Huan on his new important position and believed that he would uphold his capacity and experience, together with the Ninh Binh Provincial Party Committee and its Standing Board, to lead, direct and implement successfully the Resolution of the 13^th National Party Congress, the Politburo's Resolution No. 30-NQ/TW on socio-economic development and ensuring national defence and security in the Red River Delta until 2030, with a vision to 2045; the Resolution of the 22nd Congress of the provincial Party Organisation with orientations and target of building Ninh Binh into a tourism hub of the whole country, and becoming a developed province in theRed River Delta region by 2030.

Mai also congratulated former Secretary of the Ninh Binh Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Thi Thu Ha, who has just been appointed as Vice President and General Secretary of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Central Committee in the 2019-2024 tenure,and expressed her belief that Ha would uphold her sense of responsibility, capacity and experience to make contributions to the operations of theVietnam Fatherland Front Central Committee.

New Secretary of the Ninh Binh Provincial Party Committee Doan Minh Huan was born in 1971 in Ha Tinh province.

 Before holding the post of Secretary of the Ninh Binh Provincial Party Committee, Huan had held manydifferent positions.
