Ninh Binh province records one imported COVID-19 case
The patient is a 23-year female guest worker returning from Japan. She was brought to Rigel Hotel in Nha Trang city, Khanh Hoa province, for quarantine right after her arrival on June 10.
After spending 21 days of concentrated quarantine, and an additional seven days of self-quarantine, with four consecutive tests showing negative results, she came back to her native land in Khanh Loi commune in Yen Khanh district on July 10. Right on the day, she had samples taken for COVID-19 testing.
The testing result showed that she was positive to coronavirus SARS-CoV-2. The patient was then transferred to Cau Yen General Clinic, a subordinate unit of Ninh Binh General Hospital, for quarantine and treatment.
A total of 19 people who had close contact with the patient have been quarantined in Yen Khanh district.
