Ninh Binh province attracts 93 FDI projects

The projects have been carried out in line with their targets, scales and schedules. They are operating stably and strictly following Vietnamese laws and regulations.

In the first half of 2023, the department has granted investment registration certificate to one FDI project with total registered capital of 7.5 million USD and adjusted investment registration certificatesfor five other projects.

The provincial People's Committee also granted, extended and supplemented operation registration licenses for some organisations such as  WCS (US),  International Center (US) Family Health International - FHI (US), FOUR PAWS International (Austria), Help Age International (UK) and AHF (US).

It is considering for approval of two projects, including a project to enhance the medical system's capacity to manage stress in Ninh Binh funded by BasicNeeds Network and a project on child protection financed by ActionAid International.

The provincial People's Committee also received and implemented a project on reducing plastic waste in  tourism funded by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and the Global Environment Facility's Small Grants Programme (GEF SGP).

Besides, the department is managing and monitoring the implementation of four projects using ODA and preferential loans with total investment capital of over 1.67 trillion VND (72 million USD). Of them, two projects were completed and put into operation since the end of 2022.
