The Forestival programme themed "The heart of heritage" consists of two parts, namely "Creative Week" and "Music Festival". It is scheduled to take place at Trang An golf course in December 2024 and Khe Coc island with outstanding activities.
The Heritage Legend programme is slated to held in March 2025 at Trang An ecological tourism site.
Famous artists and figures such as Kitaro, animal preservationist Laurie Marker, and US Director Phillip Noyce will participate in the programme.
These programmes are expected to spread the tourism brand of Ninh Binh and its position in the international tourism market.
Ninh Binh will also produce two movies named "The heart of heritage" and "The brilliant skyline" to introduce and promote its tourism potential as well as culture and historical values of the province's people and land.
"The heart of heritage" movie will be screened on flights of Vietnam Airlines Singapore Airlines and channels of VTV, National Geographic and Discovery. It will be translated in six languages - English, French, Spanish, Chinese, Japanese and Korean.
The tourism promotion programmes aim to realis the province's policies and orientations in developing tourism, cultural industry and innovation with the goal of turning into itself a centrally-run city with characteristic of a millennium urban heritage and creative city by 2035 and a hub of tourism, cultural industry and heritage economy of the whole country and the Asia-Pacific region.
In addition, these programmes would contribute to building unique cultural events that exploit the cultural, historical and archeological values of Trang An heritage and Hoa Lu ancient capital.
Ninh Binh sets a target of attracting over 10 million domestic and foreign tourists by 2030.
