Ninh Binh Party Secretary attends enlistment ceremony

In Nho Quan district, up to 252 youths will join the General Department of Engineering; the Military Academy of Logistics; the High Command of Border Guard in Ninh Binh; and Corp. 1. Meanwhile, eight others will serve in the police force.

At the ceremony, Thanh presented flowers and gifts to the new recruits.

She said she expected the recruits will uphold the traditions of the armed forces to fulfill all assigned tasks, helping to build a regular, modern and well-trained military.

In 2017, Ninh Binh is to send 1,550youthsto serve in the10 units of the army.

Ceremonies were also held across the province to see off young people to undertake compulsory military service.
