Thanh, who is also alternative member of the Party Central Committee and head of the province's National Assembly Deputies' group, and other leading officials visited the park in Ky Phu and Phu Long communes.The 1,155ha project will include seven main areas for the wildlife, services, themed entertainment, research and development, resettlement, and forests.At present, the project is in its land clearing stage. Once put into operation in 2015, the park will become a typical wildlife conservation center of the country, Southeast Asia and the world, inhabited by about 3,000 individuals from 250 species. Besides, it will contribute positively to the conservation of Vietnam's animal genetic resources, natural ecosystems, serving scientific research. In particular, the park will help connect existing tourism spots in the province together, serve about 5 million visitors every year, and create jobs for 2,500 locals.At a working session, Thanh spoke highly of the achievements by the Project management board in accelerating the construction of the park. The management board should finalize a master plan to be submitted to the Prime Minister at an early date, she urged.Thanh also called for investment, both domestic and foreign, to accellerate the completion of the project and put it into operation.
