Ninh Binh party chief congratulates press agencies on 94th anniversary

Speaking at the meetings with journalists of Ninh Binh Newspaper, Ninh Binh Radio and Televison, representative offices of Nhan Dan Newspaper and Vietnam news agency in Ninh Binh, Thanh praised their significant achievements in disseminating the guidelines and policies of the Party and State, as well as expeditiously providing information on socio-economic situation and other province's major events. They have also helped to improve people's spiritual life, she added.

On this occasion, the party chief also extended the best wishes to journalists in the province and called on them to keep their political steadfastness and occupational ethics, step up communications about role models, and fight negative phenomena.

She also expressed hope that media agencies will show better performance in implementing their tasks of communications assigned by the Party, State and people.

Thanh stressed that the current domestic and world situation requires journalists to continue renovating and exerting more efforts in order to keep their role and position in guiding public opinion and contributing more to the national construction and defence in the new period.In the context of deeper international integration of the country and strong development of the information and communication technology, media staff should quickly get access to new communications technology and methods, she added.

The same day, Thanh and her delegation also congratulated Ninh Binh Journalist Association and other press agencies in the province.
