Ninh Binh offers more attractive tourism products to lure tourists

Pham Nhat Linh, head of camping services at Green Pine Resort in Ky Phu commune of Nho Quan district, said since the end of 2023, the unit has provided a new game called Go kart and grass slide. When playing Go kart, tourists could combine driving and taking sightseeing. This new game has attracted a large number of tourists.

Meanwhile, local accommodation establishments have also paid attention to providing new experiences for tourists.

Tran Manh Hung, owner of Tam Coc Rice Fields Resort, said since the beginning of 2023, his homestay facility has provided various agricultural-based services such as boat rowing, fishing, planting rice, and cooking. These activities have received enthusiastic response from tourists, especially international guests.

In the beginning of 2024, travel companies have seen great changes in tourism trend. Tourists have preferred tours that combine sightseeing, eco-tourism and experiences to spiritual tourism. They also wished to spend more time to experience cultural and art events, entertainment activities and cuisine.

In order to meet the demand of tourists, new tourism products have been launched such as Muong tours - Thien Ha Cave. When taking the tour, tourists will take part in typical traditional culture exchanges, folk games and agricultural activities of the Muong ethnic minority people in Ninh Binh. In addition, they will have a chance to enjoy typical foods and discover Thien Ha cave complex.

This new tourism product is a combination of heritage and archeological tourism with preserving and promoting the values of the Muong ethnic minority people. It promises to bring about intriguing experiences to tourists.

A part from being bestowed with magnificent natural landscapes, Ninh Binh boasts spaces suitable to experience tourism such as traditional craft villages, farms, ethnic minority villages. Tourists will have opportunities to enjoy and discover the life and culture of local people.

In order to have attractive experience tourism products, however, Ninh Binh needs to have typical outstanding tourism products with stable quality services.

It needs to tighten guide and rescue work, pay attention to digital transformation, invest in technical infrastructure, and provide training courses for professional tourism workforce.

It is necessary for Ninh Binh to strengthen the linkages between destinations for experience tourism with historical relic sites, festivals, craft villages, cuisine, agro- and community-based tourism in a bid to create new outstanding tourism products that preserve and promote the values of traditional culture as well as the strengths of localities.
