Ninh Binh: Nearly 5,000 jobs created for workers in Q1

Though there remained difficulties in the post-COVID-19 period, vocational training and employment generation in Ninh Binh province have seen promising results. 

In the first three months of 2023, Ninh Binh has provided vocational training for over 3,300 people and offered jobs for nearly 5,000 labourers, accounting to 25.6% of the yearly plan.

The province sent 328 labourers to work abroad, representing 23.4% of the yearly plan.

The province has also promptly solved unemployment insurance claims for 516 people, with a paid sum of over 8.6 billion VND.

In 2023, Ninh Binh is striving to create jobs for 19,400 labourers, including 1,400 labourers to work abroad.

It will provide vocational training for 17,500 people in an attempt to improve the quality of the workforce for enterprises.
