Target for job generation surpassed
According to Ninh Binh province's centre for employment services, there are currently 20 enterprises registering to recruit labourers directly on the job transaction floor, 70 firms are offering 20,000 job vacancies; and 9 labour export companies need to recruit 5,000 labourers for working in the Republic of Korea, Japan, Taiwan (China) and some European countries.
La Thanh Tung, Director of the Ninh Binh Centre for Employment Services, said to deal with local enterprises' huge demand for recruiting labourers, in the past time, the division of labour market information has stepped up connections with firms to collect information of recruitment and surveyed the emplyment needs of labourers.
The centre then built a database of labour demand and supply, and devised plans on recruitment for monthly job fairs.
In the first nine months of 2022, Ninh Binh has provided jobs for nearly 20,000 labourers, accounting to 76% of the yearly plan, and 5.2% higher than the figure of the same period last year.
The province's labour export has been revived. By the end of September, the province had sent 1,212 labourers to work abroad, representing 86.57% of the yearly plan and 169% higher than the figure in the same period of 2021, Tung added.
Nearly 27,000 job opportunities await labourers
Nguyen Huu Tuyen, Vice Director of the provincial Department of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs, said 136 local businesses currently need to recruit 27,000 workers. However, the province's labour market has met a small part. Therefore, in the year-end months, it is necessary to connect with other localities to expand the labour market.
In the coming time, the department will continue steering the centre for employment services to carry out solutions to connect labour supply-demand in various forms.
At the same time, the centre needs to improve the quality of job fairs, thus creating a reliable bridge between employers and employees and providing quality labour forces for enterprises.
Besides, it will continue carrying out measures to foster the labour market such as reducing time in handling administrative procedures, giving career counselling for those quitting jobs , providing loans for creating jobs, labour export and production development in a bid to create more jobs for labourers.
The full and prompt implementation of the Party, State and province's policies on support for labourers and enterprises who were affected by the COVID-19 to overcome difficulties, revive production and create jobs, will contribute to stablising and developing the labour market in the province in the coming time, Tuyen added.
