Ninh Binh Men's Volleyball Championship 2017 opens

The Men's Volleyball Championship officially kicked off on December 18 at the Ninh Binh Competition House with the participation of eight teams from eight districts in the province.
The competition will follow a round robin format with two groups, from which the top two teams of each group will advance into the semi-final round.
Following the opening ceremony, the Ninh Binh city team played against the team of Nho quan district. Ninh Binh city team won 3-0.
Prior to the opening ceremony, matches were held between teams from Gia Vien, Tam Diep, Yen Mo, Kim Son, Hoa Lu, and Yen Khanh.
The tournament is scheduled to finish on December 22. The winning team will take a cash prize worth 20 million VND, the second team will get 15 million VND while the third and fourth will receive 10 and 5 million VND, respectively.
