Ninh Binh authorities solemnly held a ceremony on October 16 to mark 55 years of implementing President Ho Chi Minh's Testament and 65 years since his visit to the province.

Attending the ceremony were member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the provincial Party Committee Doan Minh Huan; and Deputy Secretary of the provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the provincial People's Committee Pham Quang Ngoc, among others.
In his remark, Secretary of the provincial Party Committee Doan Minh Huan affirmed that keeping in mind Uncle Ho's inner wishes in his Testament and his teachings when he visited Ninh Binh, the provincial Party Organisation, administration and people have always stayed unite, innovated, upheld potential and advantages and overcome difficulties to reap significant outcomes in all fields.

From an undeveloped province, Ninh Binh has seen remarkably development strides with an average GRDP growth rate of 7.3% in the 2020 - 2023 period and 8.45% growth in the first nine months of 2024, Huan said.
Ninh Binh is ranked among the top five provinces with the fastest growth in the Red River Delta, he noted.
With a high per capita income and positive economic shift, Ninh Binh has affirmed its position as one of the most dynamic provinces in the whole country, the official stressed.
Currently, Ninh Binh is realising its goal of turning itself into a centrally-run city with characteristic of a millennium urban heritage and creative city by 2035 and a hub of tourism, cultural industry and heritage economy of the whole country and the Asia-Pacific region.
At the event, participants watched a reportage "Ninh Binh follows Uncle Ho's teachings" and enjoyed an art programme themed "Following Uncle Ho's call" which highlights his five visits to Ninh Binh as well as the province's outstanding socio-economic achievements in the past 55 years of implementing the late President's Testament.
