Ninh Binh makes all-out efforts to complete East-West road

The East-West road project (first phase) has been identified as a key transport project of Ninh Binh and the province has focused resources to complete its construction as scheduled.

The project has total capital investment of over 1.91 trillion VND. It is designed to have four lanes while the section connecting the starting point with the intersection of North-South expressway will have eight lanes.

It is constructed by joint venture of Xuan Truong Construction Company and Thanh Trung Company.

The project was kicked off in March 2022. To date, around 40% of its construction workload has been completed.

According to Dang Huu Truong, Vice Director of the provincial management board of transport projects, said relevant localities have handed over 20.2 out of 22.9 kilometers of of reclaimed land.

The remaining 2.66 kilometers of land includes residential land, houses and infrastructure works.

Thanks to the determination of related units, 1.6 kilometers of concreted road and bridges have been done.

A representative of the joint venture, said that they are working hard to construct the road base on the cleared land site.

All machines, equipment and workers have been mobilised to construct the project while contractors, supervision consultants and the investor have constantly controlled the quality and technical conditions of the project in a bid to complete the project as scheduled.
