According to the provincial People's Committee, nearly 2 kilometers of roads were damaged while nearly 35 kilometers of roads were inundated.
Approximately 6 kilometers of dykes saw land erosion while 5,5 kilometers of canals and four pumping stations have been damaged.
Fortunately, no death was reported. All residents in dangerous areas were evacuated to safe places before the typhoon made landfall.
Nearly 5,000 houses were inundated; while six schools, five medical facilities and culture houses were damaged.
Nearly 2,500 hectares of crops were affected or damaged, including 2,115 hectares of rice and 304 hectares of other crops.
More than 6,400 poultry and cattle were killed or swept away while 3,000 hectares of fish farming and 133 hectares of shrimp breeding were damaged.
Local party committees and administrations at all levels have mobilised military and public security officers and soldiers, and social-political organisations to help local residents promptly to overcome the consequences and typhoon and subsequent floods.
At the same time, forces and equipment have been mobilised to repair dykes, transport roads and works, and ensure environmental hygiene, fresh water and prevention of diseases on human and animals.
