Ninh Binh likely to exceed budget target by 50.8pct this year

Budget collection of the northern province of Ninh Binh in 2019 continues to see 4th consecutive year of growth, estimated at over 15.2 trillion VND ($656 million), marking the highest level recorded in five year period (2015 - 2020) .
Of the figure, the province's domestic collection reached 9.8 trillion VND (422 million USD), surpassing the assigned target by 20 percent and up 46.7 percent against the previous year.
Meanwhile, import-export activities contributed over 5.3 trillion VND (228 million USD) to the local budget, exceeding the assigned target by 42 pct and representing a year-on-year growth of 41.4 pct.
