Ninh Binh LienVietPostBank won the National Women's Volleyball Championship - Duc Giang Chemicals Cup 2023 after beating Duc Giang Chemicals Tia Sang 3-1 in the final match on November 19.
In the first set, the defending runners-up of Duc Giang Chemicals Tia Sang beat Ninh Binh LienVietPostBank 25/23.
But in the second, third and fourth sets, Ninh Binh LienVietPostBank played with a strong determination and defeated their rivals 25/21; 26/24; and 25/17, respectively, successfully winning the title.
With the result, Duc Giang Chemicals Tia Sang set a "sad record" as the team ranked second in the championship for the fourth consecutive time.
Meanwhile Ninh Binh LienVietPostBank made their history when the squad won the championship for the first time.
The title earned Ninh Binh LienVietPostBank a cash prize of 500 million VND while its libero Kim Lien was honoured as the best libero of the tournament.
