Ninh Binh launches COVID-19 vaccination programme

Ninh Binh province launched its first COVID-19 vaccination stage on April 27 for prioritised people in line with the Government's Resolution No. 21.
Accordingly, more than 200 people, including members of the provincial steering committee for COVID-19 prevention and control, medical workers and members of the armed forces, who are taking part in the fight against the pandemic, are the first to be inoculated from April 27-29.
The vaccination programme is concurrently implemented at the Ninh Binh General Hospital and Ninh Binh Obstetrics and Pediatrics Hospital.
The Ministry of Health had previously allocated 6,400 doses of AstraZeneca vaccine, which were granted by the COVAX Facility, to Ninh Binh province.
As planned, the second vaccination programme will be carried out at eight other places in the province in May.
