The development of industrial zones has helped attracted businesses, especially FDI enterprises that manufacture spare parts for car making and, electronic components.
At the same time, the province also moved traditional handicraft villages to industrial clusters in a bid to increase income for local labourers and reduce environmental pollution in local resident areas.
In 2023, Ninh Binh will continue to attract investment into industrial clusters and finalise procedures to establish new industrial parks such as Phu Long, Tam Diep II, and expanded Gian Khau.
With the goal of developing the industry sector in the way of increasing effectiveness, offering more jobs for rural labourers, shifting economic sectors, ensuring sustainable development in a green, safe and modern industry, Ninh Binh has focused on attracting hi-tech, clean and friendly-environment projects that increase more value for products and make great contributions to the state budget.
The province gives priority to developing automobile manufacturing and assembly, supporting industry, electronics, mechanics, and processing industry to serve agricultural production.
