Ninh Binh hosts National Junior Team Tennis Championship

The National Junior Team Tennis Championship kicked off in the northern province of Ninh Binh on June 3.

The event saw the participation of 12 teams with nearly 200 players and coaches from provinces, cities and sectors across the country. The players are  competing in the U12, U14, U16, and U18 age categories.

This is an annual tournament that provides young tennis players the opportunity to practice and improve their tactical skills. It also allows experts to inspect and evaluate the training and development of young tennis athletes at organisations and localities nationwide.

The championship was co-organised by the Sports Authority of Vietnam, the Ninh Binh provincial Department of Culture and Sports, and the Vietnam Tennis Federation.

The competition will run until June 9.
