Ninh Binh honours nearly 200 outstanding individuals in voluntary blood donation

In the five recent years (2018-2023), the northern province of Ninh Binh has collected over 50 thousand blood units.

In the first half of 2023, the province has received 4,800 blood units, meeting the demand of local medical centers and some Centrel medical establishments as well.

The voluntary blood donation movement continued to be widely deployed by the Ninh Binh Red Cross Society, agencies and mass organisations.

Ninh Binh strives to reach the target of blood donation at 2% of the population in a bid to meet local's medical center requirements for blood.

At the meeting, the Standing Vice secretary of Ninh Binh provincial party committee  Mai Van Tuat granted certificates of merit to nearly 200 collectives, individual for great contributions to blood donation campaigns.
