Ninh Binh honours 141 outstanding farmers

The conference was held by the Ninh Binh Farmers' Union to review the five-year-implementation of the farmers' emulation movements in production and business, with the aim to get rich together, along with sustainable poverty reduction during 2017-2021 period.

In the past 5 years, the emulation movement has been developed widely, attracted the participation of many farmers. Specifically, there are 138,384 households that have achieved the title of outstanding farmers in production and business at all levels.

During the 2017-2021 period, 4,593 households  were helped to get out of poverty sustainably.

Many member of the Ninh Binh Farmers' Union made great contribution to the construction of modern rural areas and local socio-economic development.

On this occasion, one-hundred and one farmers who gained outstanding achievements in the emulation movements related to production and business, solidarity, and sustainable poverty reduction during the 2017-2021 period in Ninh Binh province were honoured; 10 collectives and 10 individuals who have outstanding achievemens in implement the movement were handed over with merit of cetificate of provincial people's committee.
