Ninh Binh helds programme "Tet of gathering and spring of sharing" 2024

According to Duong Duc Khanh, President of the Ninh Binh Confederation of Labour, since 2014, trade unions at all levels in Ninh Binh province have always cared for their members and labourers during Lunar New Year Festivals by presenting gifts or providing coach tickets to them.

In the past 10 years, nearly 347,200 Tet gift packages and 2,500 coach tickets worth over 200 billion VND in total were handed over to disadvantaged labourers.

During this year's programme, the Ninh Binh Confederation of Labour mobilised donations from organisations, individuals and donors to hand over 3,500 Tet gift packages to trade union members and labourers in the local industrial zones and clusters.

Joinging the programme, trade union members and labourers took part in a lucky draw game with valuable prizes on offer.

Twenty-one booths were set up to provide 300 free gifts and 800 coupons to labours and workers.

Trade unions at all levels in Ninh Binh province have mobilised over 25 billion VND to care for their members and labourers on the occasion of the Lunar New Year Festival, Khanh added.

The programme was one of the practical activities organised by the provincial Confederation of Labour to care for the spiritual and material lives of workers, especially those with difficult circumstances, to help them welcome a happy Tet.
