The honoured dish is "Thit de" (goat meat) in Truong Yen commune of Hoa Lu district. The meat of goats, which are raised on local mountains, is cooked to serve with six different dishes.
Meanwhile, the specialty gifts include "Com chay" (homemade crispy rice crackers) and "Mam tep Gia Vien" (sauce made from little shrimps of Gia Vien district).
These specialty dish and gifts will be awarded with certificates and TOP badges from Vietkings and the TopVietnam Organisation Company Limited (VietTop) at a ceremony scheduled to take place in April 2021.
The recognition aims to not only honour Vietnamese cuisine but also promote Vietnamese dishes, including Ninh Binh's specialties, to tourists both in and outside the country.
