Ninh Binh General Hospital honoured with first-class Labour Order

The hospital was established in 1929. Currently, it has 45 departments, over 800 doctors, nursers and cadres with 1,000 patient beds.

The hospital has installed cutting-edge medical equipment and many modern operating rooms so to provide better services for patients. Many new treatment methods have been applied successfully over years.

Speaking at the ceremony, Dien spoke highly of the efforts of the hospital and its cadres over years.

However, to better take care of people's health in the future, the hospital needs to build an independent financial plan; to boost the application of hi-tech in examination-and-treatment services; and to improve medical equipment as well as the quality of staff, he said.

Besides, the hospital should have an attractive mechanism and a favorable work envionment to draw competent doctors to work there, he added.

At the same time, the hospital needs to strengthen cooperation with Central hospitals, neighbouring ones and international health organisations to exchange and learn more knowledge and apply new cutting-edge treatments to better server people's health.
