Ninh Binh establishes two new industrial parks

The People's Committee of northern Ninh Binh province has issued Decision No 726/QĐ-UBND dated June 3rd,2016, and Decision No 766/QĐ- UBND dated June 10th,2016 on establishing Gia Phu industrial park (IP) in Gia Vien district and Khanh Hong IP in Yen Khanh district in an effort to attract investment into these areas.

Gia Phu IP will be located in Gia Vien district, covering a total land area of 50 hectares. It will host the production of textile and garment, footware, electronic equipment, and automobile accessories.

Meanwhile, Khanh Hong IP spreads over 22.9 hectares, and was designed for projects manufacturing garment and textile, and mechanical appliances, and processing agro-forestry-fishery products. These projects should use high technologies as well as raw materials and labor force available in the province.

Together with current industrial clusters, Khanh Hong and Gia Phu IPs will help lure investments, accelerate economic restructuring, increase the efficient operation of industry and handicraf industry in these areas in particular, and in the whole province in general.
