The move came under Decision No 105/QĐ-SGTVT dated April 6, 2020 of Ninh Binh's Department of Transport.
The five posts were set up at Non Nuoc bridge; Nam Binh bridge (Ninh Binh city); Khuat bridge (Gia Vien district); Doc Xay (Tam Diep city); and Lap Cap bridge (Nho Quan district).
These posts will run round-the-clock from now until April 30, 2020. Staff at the posts, including those from the traffic inspectorate, public security, local health agencies, will check passengers' body temperature on coaches and the use of hand sanitizer and face masks.
They will impose fines on violators of COVID-19 prevention and control regulations and take measures to quarantine those who show symptoms of infecting with the novel coronavirus SARS-CoV-2.
As of April 7, the province had recorded 13 COVID-19 infection cases. One of the patients has fully recovered and has been discharged from hospital.
