After five years of implementing the Politburo's Directive 05-CT/TW dated May 15, 2016 on enhancing the study and following President Ho Chi Minh's thought, morality and style, party committees, agencies, organisations and localities in Ninh Binh province have developed numerous action plans associated with the implementation of their political tasks, helping to boost socio-economic development, ensure security and defense, and build strong party organisations.
Over the past five years, the implementation of Directive 05-CT/TW in the entire Party Organisation of Ninh Binh province has created more positive and profound changes in the awareness and action of cadres and party members.
Solutions enhancing the performance of the Politburo's Directive have been closely linked with implementing political tasks andsolving pressing problems of the people.
During the past five years, many creative activities, diverse and meaningful models in the implementation of Directive 05-CT/TW were applied and multiplied. For example, the model of "Encouraging people to voluntarily donate organs and blood"; the humanitarian fund of the provincial Red Cross Society; movement of cornea donation in Kim Son district; model of encouraging monks, and Baddish followers to join humanitarian activities; movement of "donating private land to expand roads" in the programme of building new-style rural areas.
Outstanding individuals included war veteran Do Quang San who used his own money to build bridge for local people in the Yen Khanh district; Duong Hong Quy (Ninh Binh city), a multi-organ donor who donated his organs after brain death to save other lives; and Le Thi Thu Thuy, Chairwoman of the Red Cross Society of Tam Diep city who has encouraged local residents to register to donate organs after passing away.
Specifically, the movement of building new-style rural areas and civilized cities saw many typical collectives and individuals.
By the end of 2020, three districts and one city in the province had completed the task of building new-style rural areas, including Hoa Lu, Yen Khanh, Gia Vien, and Tam Diep city. Up to 106 out of the province's 116 communes were recognised to meet new standards of new-style rural areas; and nine communes meeting advanced standards of new-style rural areas.
Thrift practice, wastefulness prevention, and sustainable poverty reduction work have received much attention and response from many units. This is the result of the process of striving and learning of Party committees, administrations at all levels, the Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations.
Two collectives and three individuals with outstanding achievements in implementing Directive No. 05 were awarded the Certificates of Merit at the central level; 51 collectives and 102 individuals were honored at the provincial level; 432 collectives and 734 individuals were commended at the district level.
