A representative of Ninh Binh reported the province's tourism development situation in recent years.
Ninh Binh's tourism sector has enjoyed strong growth with an increasing number of tourist arrivals. Ninh Binh was named among the top 10 welcoming regions in Asia by Booking.com
The outcomes are attributed to the province's implementation of synchronic and long-term strategic solutions. It issued suitable mechanisms and policies; well controlled the planning work and management of tourism. In the process of tourism development, the province has always put people at the centre and ensured the rights and interests of local residents.
Moreover, Ninh Binh has created favourable conditions for attracting investment in tourism infrastructure; paid heed to promoting its tourism potential; stepped up digital transformation; and improved the quality of human resources.
Vice Chairwoman of the Dak Nong Provincial People's Committee Ton Thi Ngoc Hanh spoke highly of Ninh Binh's efforts and achievements, especially in the tourism sector.
In recent years, Dak Nong has seen strides in socio-economic development, with tourism being defined as one of three main pillars of the provincial economy.
In July 2020, Dak Nong Geological Park of Dak Nong was recognised as a global geological park by UNESCO.
However, Dak Nong's tourism development has not been commensurate with its potential and strengths. The investment attraction, tourism promotion, conservation and development have still faced difficulties, she added.
At the seminar, the two sides discussed and exchanged ways and experience in a bid to develop tourism strongly in the coming time.
