Ninh Binh continues to host National Tourism Year 2021

Ninh Binh province will continue to host the National Tourism Year 2021, according to Official dispatch No. 4494 dated June 5, 2020 issued by the Government Office.
The decision was made at the proposal of the Ministry of Culture, Sport and Tourism.
Ninh Binh was selected to organise the National Tourism Year 2020 themed "Hoa Lu - ancient capital of a thousand years". However, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the launching ceremony for the National Tourism Year 2020 and 11 other activities and 79 events in response to the year were postponed.
Some important festivals like Hoa Lu, Trang An and Tam Coc golden season were organised at smaller scales.
Accordingly, the south central coastal province of Ba ria - Vung Tau would not be chosen to host the National Tourism Year 2021 on the occasion of its 30 th founding anniversary as initially planned.
