Ninh Binh continues countermeasures against COVID-19

The countermeasures as follows:

It is compulsory to wear face masks in public places; avoid mass gatherings (over 30 people); maintain a 1-meter distance when communicating with each other.

To continue stop receiving visitors at tourism sites across the province; suspend all sport events and entertainment activities, and close all entertainments facilities like karaoke bars, massage facilities, internet game centers and cinemas until May 3, 2020.

Pagodas, churches and religious institutions not to hold rituals or art shows that gather more than 30 people.

To limit the organization of meetings and conferences; if any, participants must be reduced to the minimum number in line with the Government's regulations on COVID-19 prevention and control.

Stepping up the application of IT in the instruction and management work by organizing online meetings, teaching, handling administrative procedures, and making health declaration and disease control.

All local residents must voluntarily comply with the above-said regulations and make health declarations.

Local people are encouraged to protect themselves and their families, and responsibly take part in the fight against COVID-19.

Communication campaigns should be stepped up to encourage local residents to strictly follow COVID-19 prevention and control measures.

The provincial Department of Public Security must ensure social security and safety for people. It was requested to promptly investigate and strictly dealing with violations such as causing social disorder, resisting on-duty officers and breaking COVID-19 prevention and control regulations.

The transport sector was asked to restrict the transportation of passengers to and from provinces and areas in the high-risk group.

Students from grade 9 to 12 and those of vocational schools will come back to school on April 27, while 5-year-old children and pupils from grade 1 to 8 will come back to school on May 4.

Administrations at all levels and sectors must pay heed to removing difficulties faced by enterprises, especially administrative procedures, to accelerate production and business.

The health sector continues to cooperate with localities to strictly implement measures to fight against COVID-19.

According to Ninh Binh authorities, the disease has been put under control in the province with no new infection cases recorded over the past week.

So far, Ninh Binh has recorded 14 COVID-19 cases, of who nine patients were discharged and five others undergoing treatment.
