The power transmission line runs from Quang Trach in the central province of Quang Binh to Pho Noi in the northern province of Hung Yen. It has a total length of 519 kilometers and runs through nine provinces.
To date, basement foundations at 1,177 sites have been constructed.
In Ninh Binh, the project runs through 11 communes of Kim Son district, with a total length of nearly 8 kilometers and 21 pole sites covering an area of 3.79 hectares. As many as 93 households have been affected by the project as their houses, gardens, agricultural land and aquaculture land have been reclaimed.
Speaking at the teleconference, Chairman of the provincial People's Committee Pham Quang Ngoc said, by March 30, Ninh Binh has handed over the whole land site to the investor. All affected households have received compensation, he said.
The province also worked with contractors to ensure supply of construction materials as well as order security and labour safety.
Speaking at the event, PM Chinh hailed ministries and agencies, especially the Ministry of Industry and Trade, for their active roles in regularly overseeing and accelerating the project.
They were asked to continue working closely together to overcome any hurdles and maintain the project's schedule.
The PM directed relevant authorities to finalise compensation policies for affected residents by April 10. He also set deadlines for substantial completion of project items by June 20 and full operation before June 30.
