* At the ceremony to see off the new recruits in Ninh Binh city, Secretary of the Ninh Binh provincial Party Committee Nguyen Thi Thanh, and Head of the provincial military, Colonel Nguyen Ngoc Thach presented gifts to the youths joining military service.
This year, the city had 98 new recruits with more than half of them expressing wishes to voluntarily join the army. Twelve of the new recruits had university and college degrees while some are members of the Communist Party of Vietnam.
* Chairman of the provincial People's Council Tran Hong Quang and Kim Son district's leaders attended the enlistment ceremony for new recruits in Kim Son district.
Up to 350 youths of Kim Son district met the requirements for serving in the military and public security forces. Among them, 10 will be serving in public security forces, and the rest will be joining in army units in the province and other localities nationwide.
* Chairman of the Ninh Binh provincial People's Committee Dinh Van Dien and leaders of Yen Mo district participated in the hand-over ceremony for new recruits in Yen Mo district.In 2019, nearly 300 youthsin the district joined the army, of whom five held university and college degrees, and two are Party members.
The same day, eight districts and cities completed handing over 1,600 new recruits to representatives from military units.
