Ninh Binh: Candidates for NA and People's Council elections complete meetings with voters

These meetings were held to perform the candidates' right to campaigning, raise constituents' awareness of their rights and obligations to vote in the elections, and resolve citizens' relevant complaints and denunciations.

At these meetings, local voters heard  the biographies and action programmes of the candidates. They hailed the contents and action programmes of the candidates, voicing their hope that the elected NA deputies and members of all-level People's Councils will promote their abilities and experience, keep their promises, and pay attention to addressing issues of voters' concern.

 Meanwhile, the candidates vowed that if elected, they would strive to fulfil their duties as representatives of the people, regularly keep close contact with the people, and always listen to and reflect voters' opinions and aspirations to competent agencies for consideration and resolution.

Currently, all localities in Ninh Binh are working hard to implement the "dual goals" of preventing and controlling the COVID-19 epidemic while ensuring socio-economic development and the successful and safe organisation of the upcoming elections, which are slated for May 23.
