Ninh Binh, Ca Mau sign cooperation programme for 2022-2025 period

At the meeting, representatives of the two departments reported the outcomes of rural and agricultural development cooperation between the two provinces of Ninh Binh and Ca Mau in the 2017-2021 period.

The two sides also agreed on the contents of the cooperation programme in the 2022-2025 period.

Accordingly, the cooperation programme would focus on exchanging experiences in shrimp breeding in mangrove swamps in combination with developing ecological tourism, increasing income for local people; building pilot models of planting high value crops and farming profitable animals.

Besides, they will create favourable conditions for investors from the other province to survey and invest in agriculture and rural fields; and encourage investment in developing  value chains for agricultural products, and organic agricultural production.

The two sides also pledged to support promotion and consumption of farm produce of the two provinces, and set up booths for showcasing OCOP products of each province.
