Ninh Binh, Ca Mau and Bac Lieu work to boost consumption of local products

The event attracted the participation of enterprises, cooperatives and distributors of the three provinces.

Representatives of the departments introduced potential and strengths of their provinces for enterprises and distributors to seek investment and cooperationopportunities.

Participants discussed, evaluated, analysed and suggested some solutions to develop production and boost linkages among the goods markets of the provinces.

The event helped to encourage local firms to join goods supply chains and create jobs for residents.

At the event, enterprises and cooperatives displayed products and exchanged information about their products, production capacity and consumption markets. Businesses of the provinces pledged to support each other in the production process, selling products and improving competitiveness.

The Departments of Industry and Trade signed a cooperation agreement while participating businesses inked a memorandum of understanding on goods consumption.

The conference was considered a good start in forming distribution channels for specialties of the three provinces, towards the development and expansion of consumption networks for local products.
