Ninh Binh builds Trang An as the center of "Millennium Urban Heritage"

It is known that Ninh Binh province is implementing a project until 2030, basically meeting the criteria of a centrally run city with the characteristics of a millennium heritage urban area and creative city. Accordingly, the ancient capital of Hoa Lu contains a millennium-old ecosystem, including natural heritage, settlement heritage, archaeological relics, history, cultural identity, religion, and beliefs values.

Mr. Pham Quang Ngoc, Chairman of the People's Committee of Ninh Binh province, said that Trang An is carrying a new mission, becoming the center of the Millennium Heritage Urban, thereby promoting tourism development in the province.

In recent years, Trang An has become a prominent place in Southeast Asia and the world, registered by UNESCO. That is the basis for Ninh Binh province to invest and welcome more and more tourists. By 2023, the whole province will welcome 6,6 million visitors, Trang An scenic complex alone will welcome about 4,6 million visitors, with revenue of nearly 6.500 billion VND.

In the first 3 months of 2024, the whole province welcomed 3,9 million visitors, including nearly 340.000 international visitors, reaching 52% of the target for the whole year 2024. Trang An scenic spot accounts for the majority of visitors.

For many consecutive years, Ninh Binh has also maintained its position in the group of 15 top destinations, 10 provinces attracting the highest number of visitors in the country.

To always retain domestic and foreign tourists, Ninh Binh province always pays attention to raising the awareness of officials, party members and people in protecting the natural landscape and living environment in the area. Trang An. That has created a unique difference for Trang An.

To date, this place is recognized as one of the few heritage sites affected by humans, even humans and nature are in harmony, benefiting each other.
