Ninh Binh brings more than 600 citizens back from pandemic-hit localities

As many as 603 citizens were brought back to Ninh Binh province on October 5 from Ho Chi Minh City, and Binh Duong and Dong Nai provinces which have been hardest hit by the fourth wave of COVID-19 infections.
They are revolutionary contributors, those with fatal diseases, pregnant women, children, people with severe disabilities and the elderly. They were taken home by a special train and accompanied by the province's inter-sector delegation.
All of them had lived and worked in Ho Chi Minh City, Binh Duong and Dong Nai provinces and wished to return home.
Before leaving the train, all of them had samples taken for COVID-19 testing.
Then, the returnees were immediately sent to concentrated quarantine facilities where they will stay for 14 days and will be tested regularly in line with regulations.
In the coming time, Ninh Binh authorities will continue to bring its citizens home from southern provinces and cities.
