Ninh Binh boosts cooperative ties with Japanese and Korean cities

A delegation of Ninh Binh led by Vice Chairman of the provincial People's Committee Nguyen Cao Son paid a working visit to Japan and the Republic of Korea to sign Memoranda of Understanding on cooperation in friendship exchange, investment promotion and labour export.

On March 31, the delegation had a working session with leaders of Saiki city of Japan.
At the working session, the two sides informed each other about their respective socio-economic situation as well as potential, advantages and orientations in investment attraction in all fields.
The two sides signed a Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation and friendship exchange between Ninh Binh province and Saiki city.
The two sides affirmed that the signing of the MoU would help strengthen sound relations between Ninh Binh and Saiki, and foster investment cooperation in many fields such as economy, culture and exchanging delegations of businesses and leaders.
As part of the working visit, the delegation paid a field trip to Hyotan hot spring tourist site to study its tourism experience.
A representative of the Hyotan hot spring management board said that they would consider the possibility of making a field trip to Ninh Binh to survey and invest in hot spring sites in the province.

While in Japan, the delegation also worked with the Vietnamese Embassy and the Trade Office of Vietnam to promote and attract investment from Japanese enterprises.
On April 5, the delegation worked with the Vietnamese Embassy in the Republic of Korea on investment promotion and beefing up cooperative relations between Ninh Binh and RoK partners.

The delegation also worked with the Vietnam Trade Office in the RoK to promote investment and call for Korean businesses to explore investment opportunities in Ninh Binh in the fields of automobile supporting industry, electric car industry and other economic sectors that apply environmentally friendly and modern technologies.
Later, the delegation worked with the management centre for agricultural resources and technology in Naju city and the administration of Yeongam county to learn about the demand for Vietnamese guest workers of local businesses.
